Broker Account Executive (Arizona – Maricopa, Pinal & Pima counties)

Join SHPCA SCAN Health Plan as a Broker Account Executive serving Arizona's Maricopa, Pinal, and Pima counties. This full-time position offers the opportunity to partner with licensed insurance brokers while supporting our mission to help older adults stay healthy and independent across the communities we serve.

What This Role Involves

As a Broker Account Executive at SHPCA SCAN Health Plan, you'll be the strategic connection between our organization and the independent brokers who serve seniors in your territory. Your work focuses on expanding broker partnerships, addressing their unique needs, and ensuring they have the resources and support necessary to effectively represent our health plans within Maricopa, Pinal, and Pima counties.

Core Duties

• Build and maintain productive relationships with independent insurance brokers across your assigned Arizona counties
• Provide brokers with comprehensive plan information, enrollment resources, and policy details to support their client consultations
• Identify broker business needs and collaborate with internal departments to develop targeted solutions
• Conduct training sessions and educational workshops on plan features, coverage options, and program updates
• Expand broker networks by identifying market opportunities and cultivating new partnerships in your territory
• Track broker engagement metrics and deliver detailed reporting on account activity and performance

What You Bring

• Demonstrated success in account management, sales, or broker relationship roles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Background in health insurance, Medicare, or senior healthcare (or strong eagerness to develop expertise)
• Ability to manage multiple broker relationships and work with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation for regular travel throughout Maricopa, Pinal, and Pima counties
