Credit Analyst – Senior

Bank of Marin is hiring a Senior Credit Analyst for our Marin Commercial Banking team in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento County, California. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to advance credit quality and support commercial lending relationships in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

About This Position

As a Senior Credit Analyst with Bank of Marin, you'll evaluate credit applications, assess borrower financial health, and help maintain rigorous lending standards. Working in our Commercial Banking Office, your analytical expertise directly impacts credit decisions and portfolio management while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit applications and financial statements to evaluate credit risk and borrower creditworthiness
• Prepare comprehensive credit analysis and supporting documentation for the approval process
• Review and maintain loan documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
• Monitor loan performance and support ongoing credit management activities
• Collaborate with loan officers and team members to strengthen commercial lending relationships
• Organize and maintain detailed credit files according to bank and regulatory standards

Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of credit analysis, commercial lending, or related financial experience
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness
• Proficiency with credit analysis tools and financial modeling
• Knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with complex financial data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Commercial banking or credit experience strongly preferred
