About the Role

As a Retail Sales Agronomist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for established and prospective agricultural customers. This role combines technical crop knowledge with consultative selling to help farmers optimize their operations through sound agronomic practices and product recommendations. You'll work directly with growers across the region to understand their unique challenges and deliver tailored solutions that drive both customer success and business growth.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing agricultural accounts while generating new customer prospects
• Provide field-based agronomic advice on soil management, crop selection, nutrient programs, and pest control strategies
• Conduct on-farm consultations and soil assessments to develop customized recommendations
• Present product options and service packages, negotiate terms, and close sales with farm operators and managers
• Monitor customer crop performance and follow up to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
• Stay current on regional growing conditions, commodity markets, and competitive agronomic products
• Track sales activities, maintain customer records, and prepare reports
