What This Role Involves
As a Maintenance Technician with Hometown America Management, L.P., you'll play a critical role in keeping our North Fort Myers facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained. This hands-on position combines preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and responsive troubleshooting. You'll work independently and collaboratively to address maintenance requests, perform inspections, and execute repairs across a range of building systems and components.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections and preventive service on building systems and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC equipment and issues
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacement
- Perform groundskeeping and facility upkeep tasks as assigned
- Adhere to safety regulations and established maintenance protocols
Requirements
- Hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in facility or property maintenance
- Technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar trades
- Proficiency with common maintenance tools and equipment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with supervisors and residents
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
