Position Summary
As a Silp Assistant Coordinator with Childrens Home Association of Illinois, you will provide essential support to our program team while working directly with the families and youth we serve. This role combines administrative coordination with meaningful community engagement in a youth and family-focused organization dedicated to creating positive outcomes for the individuals in our care.
What You'll Do
- Assist in coordinating program activities, events, and initiatives that support youth and family engagement
- Provide administrative support to program staff, including scheduling, documentation, and record management
- Support direct services by assisting with client intake, needs assessment, and resource coordination
- Maintain organized files, databases, and systems that support efficient program operations
- Communicate with families, community partners, and colleagues to ensure smooth program delivery
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment that prioritizes the well-being of the youth and families we serve
Who We're Looking For
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
