About the Role

As Assistant Property Manager at Folsom Gardens, you'll be at the heart of property operations, working alongside our management team to ensure our residents enjoy well-maintained homes and responsive support. This full-time position combines administrative work, resident coordination, and hands-on property management to deliver the reliable, respectful service that defines Mercy Housing. You'll help enforce lease agreements, maintain detailed records, coordinate maintenance requests, and foster positive relationships with our community members.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day property management operations, including rent collection, lease enforcement, and resident communications
• Process and prioritize maintenance requests, coordinate with contractors, and track repairs to completion
• Conduct unit inspections, document property conditions, and maintain accurate records and databases
• Support move-in and move-out procedures, including inspections, orientation, and lease signing
• Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy
• Assist with community events, resident programs, and outreach initiatives
• Help prepare reports, budgets, and documentation for property compliance and management reviews

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or property management coursework preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with computer systems and property management software
