Director, Clinical Management- Psychedelics

In this position, you'll lead clinical program strategy and operations in the psychedelics therapeutic area, collaborating with senior leadership to deliver innovative clinical initiatives.

Position Summary

The Director, Clinical Management- Psychedelics reports to the Senior Director of Clinical Management and owns the operational strategy and execution of Otsuka's psychedelics clinical programs. Working across internal teams and with external service providers, you'll shepherd clinical programs from conception through completion, ensuring alignment with company strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the operational strategy for Otsuka's psychedelics clinical programs
• Plan, execute, and oversee completion of clinical programs according to established timelines and standards
• Coordinate with other Otsuka departments to align clinical initiatives with broader company objectives
• Manage relationships with external service providers and clinical partners
• Monitor program health, regulatory compliance, and quality metrics
• Partner with Senior Director of Clinical Management on program oversight and reporting
• Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures

Who We're Looking For

• Advanced degree in clinical research, pharmacy, medicine, or related scientific field
• Extensive background managing clinical programs or clinical operations at a pharmaceutical company
• Deep knowledge of clinical trial design, regulatory pathways, and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external vendors
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills across clinical, executive, and operational audiences
• Detail-oriented mindset with commitment to quality and accuracy
