Role Overview
We're seeking a dependable, high-energy CDL Class A Driver for a full-time position operating commercial vehicles on local delivery routes. You'll work consistent hours in the Stratmoor Hills area, returning home each evening. This is a stable opportunity with a respected gourmet food supplier committed to reliability and professional service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport gourmet products, seafood, artisanal cheeses, and fine quality meats on assigned local routes
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs of all trips and maintenance activities
- Follow all federal and state DOT regulations, safety standards, and traffic laws
- Ensure proper cargo handling and securing to maintain product quality and integrity during delivery
- Provide professional customer service and represent the company during all customer interactions
- Manage deliveries efficiently to meet schedules and complete daily routes as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- Current DOT medical certificate or ability to obtain one immediately
- Demonstrated experience operating commercial vehicles safely and reliably
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety protocols, and cargo handling
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and professional communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours required to complete delivery schedules
