Position Summary

As a Shipping Operator with Zeiss Group, you'll manage critical shipping and logistics operations at our Erial location. Working in a dynamic warehouse environment, you'll ensure products are processed, packaged, and shipped with the accuracy and care that reflects Zeiss's unwavering commitment to excellence in precision technology and scientific advancement.

Responsibilities

• Process shipments for both inbound and outbound logistics operations
• Verify order accuracy and completeness before shipment dispatch
• Operate warehouse equipment and materials handling systems safely and efficiently
• Maintain organized inventory and storage areas according to company standards
• Package and label items for shipment in compliance with established guidelines
• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to meet delivery timelines
• Record all shipment data accurately and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Uphold safety standards and follow all workplace procedures without exception

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent educational background
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Physical stamina to regularly lift, carry, and handle materials
• Competency with warehouse management systems and standard computer software
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
• Strong communication and time management capabilities
