What This Role Involves
As a Public Assistance Senior Technical Specialist with our Disaster Management team, you'll provide essential technical expertise during disaster recovery deployments and emergency response operations. Based in the US, you'll be available to deploy to disaster-affected regions and client facilities for multi-week assignments. This on-call role lets you contribute specialized technical support exactly when it's needed most, balancing flexibility with meaningful impact in crisis situations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Respond to on-call deployment requests for disaster recovery and emergency response projects
- Travel to client offices and disaster recovery sites to provide hands-on technical support
- Assess technical needs and implement recovery solutions at deployment locations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during disaster recovery operations
- Document and report on technical activities and recovery progress
- Maintain technical expertise and readiness between deployments
