This full-time, over-the-road position is designed for experienced CDL-A drivers specializing in flatbed and stepdeck transport. You'll work independently across multi-state routes, managing freight with precision and professionalism. Compensation is structured at $0.85 per mile or 30% of gross freight revenue, with experienced drivers typically earning between $8,500 and $13,000 weekly.
What You'll Do
- Operate flatbed and stepdeck trailers on long-haul OTR routes throughout the United States
- Load, secure, and protect freight using industry-standard tarping and securement techniques
- Maintain detailed logbooks and comply with federal Hours of Service regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route conditions
- Maintain compliance with DOT safety standards and company operational policies
Who We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving history
- Proven experience operating flatbed and stepdeck equipment in over-the-road service
- Strong knowledge of load securement, tarping, and freight protection
