Instacart is hiring a Shopper in Osbornville, Ocean County. As a Shopper, you'll hand-pick fresh groceries and household items from trusted retail partners and deliver them to customers' doors, helping us fulfill our promise of timely, reliable service.

Position Summary

The Shopper role is central to Instacart's mission of delivering quality groceries and essentials straight to customers' homes. You'll work independently across your local Osbornville area, selecting items that meet our quality standards, ensuring every order is accurate and complete, and making every delivery a positive customer experience. This full-time position offers flexibility and the satisfaction of connecting customers with the products they need, when they need them.

Responsibilities

• Browse assigned retail locations and hand-pick grocery items and household products based on customer orders
• Evaluate product quality and freshness, selecting the best items available to meet customer expectations
• Verify order accuracy, checking items against customer lists and ensuring nothing is missed
• Pack orders carefully to protect items during transit and maintain product integrity
• Deliver orders to customers in the Osbornville and Ocean County area with punctuality and courtesy
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding substitutions, availability, or delivery details
• Maintain a clean vehicle and manage time effectively to complete multiple deliveries each shift

Skills & Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and stock groceries regularly
• Excellent customer service skills and a focus on delivering a positive experience
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable using a smartphone app to manage orders and communicate with customers
• Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
