About the Role
As Senior Strategic Finance Manager – Partnerships at Instacart, you'll own the financial planning, analysis, and modeling for partnership initiatives. Working at the intersection of finance, business strategy, and partner relationships, you'll evaluate the financial viability and long-term value of partnership opportunities while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
What You'll Do
- Build comprehensive financial models to assess partnership opportunities and evaluate deal structures
- Conduct detailed financial analysis on partnership performance, identifying optimization opportunities and tracking key metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in partnerships, business development, and operations to align financial strategy with business goals
- Develop and manage budgets for partnership initiatives, monitoring spend and return on investment
- Support pricing strategy and revenue forecasting for partnership-driven revenue streams
- Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Monitor market dynamics and competitive landscape to inform partnership financial strategy
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or finance management, ideally in business development or partnerships
- Advanced proficiency with financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau
- Strong understanding of business metrics, KPIs, and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive business impact
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; MBA preferred
