Role Overview
This full-time position offers the opportunity to guide and mentor a dedicated computed tomography team in a hands-on leadership capacity. You'll serve as the clinical lead within UCHealth's emergency imaging operations, combining technical expertise with team development to maintain the highest standards of imaging quality and patient safety. Your role is essential to supporting emergency department imaging services during daytime shifts.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee CT technologists and imaging staff, providing real-time guidance and professional development
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures
- Supervise imaging workflows to support emergency patient care needs
- Model best practices in CT technique and departmental operations
- Collaborate with radiologists and emergency medicine physicians to optimize imaging services
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Requirements
- Certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of CT protocols, imaging physics, and radiation safety
- Ability to work daytime shifts in an on-site capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining a patient-centered approach in emergency imaging
