About the Role
You'll work as a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our Clarksville urgent care clinic, where you'll evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and other urgent healthcare needs. This position offers the opportunity to practice independently while working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff who are equally committed to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations for acute and urgent conditions
- Diagnose and establish treatment plans for patients spanning all ages
- Order, interpret, and explain diagnostic tests and imaging results to patients
- Prescribe medications and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Educate patients about their conditions, medications, and follow-up care
- Document clinical encounters clearly and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate effectively with the clinical team to ensure coordinated, quality patient outcomes
Who We're Looking For
- Current, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Tennessee
- Proven clinical experience in urgent care, primary care, or similar settings
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a genuine commitment to quality outcomes
