Cnc Machinist

Aerotek is hiring a CNC Machinist for a full-time position in Tampa, Hillsborough County. In this role, you'll set up and operate advanced CNC machinery to manufacture high-tolerance aerospace components with precision and attention to detail.

About This Position

This is a full-time opportunity to work as a CNC Machinist in a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on aerospace-grade production. You'll be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating multi-spindle and multi-turret CNC equipment to consistently produce parts that meet exacting quality standards and strict dimensional tolerances. This role requires strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to maintain production schedules while upholding the highest quality benchmarks in aerospace manufacturing.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate complex CNC machinery configured for multi-spindle and multi-turret operations
• Program CNC equipment and make real-time adjustments to M and G code to optimize part quality and performance
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand specifications and production requirements
• Monitor machine operations and perform quality checks to ensure all parts meet strict dimensional and tolerance specifications
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot machinery issues to minimize production downtime
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to achieve delivery schedules and production goals

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in aerospace manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, G code, and M code
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Hands-on experience with multi-spindle and/or multi-turret CNC machinery
• Precision-oriented mindset with commitment to quality and safety standards
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a production team
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certification preferred
