District Coordinator- ICSS

About This Position

As District Coordinator for CleanHarbors' South Plainfield district, you'll oversee the coordination and strategic direction of field teams and resources to meet both internal goals and external customer requirements. This role is central to executing our operational excellence—managing personnel, equipment, and project timelines to deliver reliable environmental services. You'll work in a fast-paced setting where your leadership directly impacts service quality and customer satisfaction across the region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise field personnel and equipment deployment across the assigned district
• Plan, staff, and dispatch service teams to meet project schedules and customer demands
• Recruit, onboard, and train newly hired field staff to company standards and operational procedures
• Manage project scheduling, completion tracking, and resource allocation to optimize cost-effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational requirements across all field activities
• Monitor team performance and productivity; identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Serve as primary point of contact for district-level coordination between customers, internal teams, and field operations

What You Bring

• Proven experience in field operations management, logistics coordination, or similar supervisory role
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in dynamic, deadline-driven environments
• Demonstrated experience recruiting, training, and managing field teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build effective working relationships
• Proficiency with scheduling software, equipment tracking systems, or related operational tools
• Working knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements in industrial or environmental services
• Problem-solving capability and customer-focused mindset
