Position Summary

Coast Medical Service is seeking an experienced or first-time travel CT Technologist for a direct placement in Little River, Horry County, South Carolina. You'll work night shift hours—three 12-hour days per week—operating state-of-the-art CT scanning equipment and providing essential diagnostic imaging that drives patient care decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners and perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders
• Prepare patients for CT examinations, explain procedures, and address patient questions and concerns
• Position patients correctly and use technical skills to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) standards
• Document procedures accurately and ensure proper patient records and imaging files
• Communicate findings with radiologists and medical team members
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to ensure optimal performance
