Travel CT Technologist – $3,428 per week

About the Role

This is a 13-week travel CT Technologist placement at a facility in Ithaca, NY, operating on a nights shift schedule of 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week. The position is available to start as soon as possible, making it ideal for experienced imaging professionals who are ready to hit the ground running in a new clinical environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures on patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Operate and maintain CT scanner equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety at all times
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Administer contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions per facility and clinical guidelines
• Document procedures accurately in the patient record and collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams on image review
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control protocols, and all applicable regulatory requirements
• Adapt quickly to facility workflows, equipment, and EMR systems as a travel clinician

What We're Looking For

• Active ARRT certification in CT or Radiography with CT registry
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice in New York
• Demonstrated hands-on experience operating CT imaging systems in a clinical setting
• Comfort working 10-hour night shifts and adapting to travel assignment expectations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to integrate seamlessly into existing care teams
• BLS certification (ACLS may be required by the facility)
• Previous travel imaging experience is a plus but not required
