About the Role
As a Travel MRI Technologist with Coast Medical Service, you will deliver high-quality magnetic resonance imaging at a partner facility in Cedar Hammock, Manatee County. This is a full-time, 13-week travel allied health assignment with an ASAP start date, scheduled at 40 hours per week across 8-hour night shifts. You will work alongside radiologists, physicians, and care teams to capture the diagnostic images clinicians depend on.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations safely and accurately following established imaging protocols
- Prepare, position, and reassure patients before and during each scan
- Operate and monitor MRI equipment to produce clear, diagnostic-quality images
- Enforce MRI safety standards and screen for contraindications in the scanner environment
- Coordinate with radiologists and nursing staff to support timely, patient-centered care
- Maintain thorough and compliant imaging documentation
Qualifications
- Active certification as an MRI Technologist within the Allied Health discipline
- Eligibility to practice in Florida for the duration of the assignment
- Availability for an ASAP start and a 13-week contract at 40 hours weekly
- Willingness to work 8-hour night shifts
