Retail Sales Manager

CarMax is hiring a Retail Sales Manager for our Virginia Beach, Virginia location. This full-time position offers a structured six to nine month training program to develop you into a successful sales leader.

Position Summary

Launch your leadership career in automotive retail with CarMax. This trainee role combines intensive on-the-floor training with hands-on business rotations to prepare you for a full Sales Manager position. Working at our Virginia Beach store, you'll learn from experienced mentors, master sales fundamentals, understand store operations, and build the leadership skills needed to inspire and guide a sales team.

What You'll Do

• Engage in structured in-store training to develop retail sales competency
• Rotate through different business functions to understand CarMax operations end-to-end
• Work alongside experienced Sales Managers and learn from on-the-job mentoring
• Apply proven sales techniques to build customer relationships and meet revenue objectives
• Support store operations and contribute to customer interactions and sales processes
• Prepare for advancement to a full Sales Manager role upon completing the training program
