About the Role
As an Industrial Mechanic with WestRock, you will safeguard the mechanical reliability and uptime of the equipment that powers our manufacturing operations. Working hands-on across our production floor in West Goshen, you'll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and carry out preventive upkeep so that machinery performs at peak efficiency and meets demanding output goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production and packaging equipment to limit downtime.
- Carry out scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance to extend equipment life and reliability.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and replace worn or defective components quickly and accurately.
- Support the installation, alignment, and calibration of machinery and related systems.
- Document maintenance activity and partner with operators and supervisors to improve performance.
- Follow all plant safety procedures and quality standards throughout every task.
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience as an industrial or maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
- Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot equipment.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor-driven systems is an asset.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and standard diagnostic instruments.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, reliability, and teamwork.
- Willing and able to work on-site in West Goshen, Chester County.
