Position Summary

This Radiology Physician role offers a unique opportunity to provide expert diagnostic imaging services in Laredo while maintaining the scheduling flexibility that matters to you. The locum tenens structure provides flexibility in a three-day work week without compromising the depth of clinical engagement.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities including radiography, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy
• Generate accurate, timely radiological reports and communicate findings to referring physicians
• Provide direct consultation to clinical teams regarding imaging results and diagnostic recommendations
• Review and approve imaging protocols to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain current knowledge of radiology guidelines and evidence-based practices
• Support the facility's commitment to patient safety and diagnostic excellence

Who We're Looking For

• MD or DO degree with active medical licensure in Texas
• Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology or board eligibility with established certification timeline
• Proven expertise in interpreting cross-sectional and conventional radiological imaging
• Strong clinical communication and consultation skills
• Professional commitment to quality, accuracy, and patient outcomes
• Collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ability to work effectively in a locum tenens environment
