The Opportunity

This is your chance to bring your accounting leadership to one of America's largest inpatient rehabilitation networks. As Healthcare Accounting Manager at our Amarillo location, you'll oversee critical financial functions that directly support patient care and facility operations. You'll work alongside a dedicated team in a role that combines technical financial management with the meaningful impact of healthcare delivery.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
• Develop and monitor departmental budgets, tracking variances and providing financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with healthcare accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering a high-performing team environment
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative departments on financial planning and reporting

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional accounting certification
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting management experience, preferably in healthcare
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing accounting teams
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance, billing practices, and regulatory requirements
