Digital Construction & Data Management Intern

Ferrovial, a global infrastructure leader headquartered in Austin, Travis County, is seeking a Digital Construction & Data Management Intern to support construction teams through digital innovation and data-driven project management.

Position Summary

This full-time internship offers hands-on experience at a company solving complex infrastructure challenges worldwide. As a Digital Construction & Data Management Intern, you'll contribute directly to the modernization of construction processes through technology and data analytics. You'll work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects, gaining exposure to how digital tools and data management practices shape infrastructure development and enable better decision-making across construction operations.

What You'll Do

• Collect, organize, and analyze project data to support construction operations and informed decision-making
• Support the implementation and adoption of digital construction tools and software platforms
• Document construction site information, project progress, and key performance metrics
• Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
• Participate in data quality assurance and verification processes across active construction projects
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of digital documentation and data management systems

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in construction management, civil engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn construction-specific software
• Excellent written and verbal communication and demonstrated teamwork capabilities
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
• Interest in construction, infrastructure, or data management disciplines
