Join Generac as the Manager of Environmental Health and Safety at our Trenton facility in Edgefield County. In this full-time leadership role, you'll drive our commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and creating a culture where every team member goes home healthy and secure at the end of each day.

About the Role

As EHS Manager, you'll lead our environmental, health, and safety programs across operations. You'll develop and execute strategies that protect our workforce, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and integrate safety into every aspect of how we work. Reporting directly to operations leadership, you'll own the safety performance of the facility and drive continuous improvement in our safety culture.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct routine workplace inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to identify and mitigate risks
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable local and state regulations
  • Lead incident investigations, document findings, and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for all facility personnel
  • Manage occupational health initiatives and workers' compensation programs
  • Partner with department leaders to embed safety into daily operations and decision-making
  • Monitor safety metrics, report on program effectiveness, and present findings to leadership

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional EHS experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety best practices
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence safety culture across multiple departments
  • Excellent communication and training abilities
  • Proven track record developing and implementing EHS programs
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
