Head of Design

Position Summary

As Head of Design at Vogo, you'll direct all aspects of product and visual design, establishing the design direction, standards, and culture that define our platform. You'll work with a talented creative team to deliver intuitive, compelling experiences that help millions of travelers find their perfect stay. Your leadership will influence how travelers interact with our technology, directly impacting the company's growth and market position.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and mentor a high-performing design team, fostering creativity and design excellence across the organization
• Define product design strategy and vision, ensuring alignment with Vogo's business objectives and market opportunities
• Lead the design of user-facing features across web and mobile platforms, from discovery and search to booking and beyond
• Establish and maintain comprehensive design systems that ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholder teams to translate user needs into innovative design solutions
• Own the visual identity and brand expression across all customer touchpoints
• Drive a user-centered design process, incorporating research, testing, and iteration into decision-making

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing design teams at scale
• 7+ years in product design, UX/UI design, or related disciplines, with at least 2–3 years in a design leadership role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital product design, interaction design, and visual design
• Deep proficiency with design tools and workflows (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools, or equivalent)
• Experience defining design strategy, design systems, and establishing design processes that support business growth
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to advocate for design-driven solutions
• Passion for creating beautiful, functional experiences that solve real user problems
• Understanding of current web and mobile design trends, accessibility standards, and best practices
