About the Role

As a Principal Strategist focused on executive engagements, you will drive Wiz's strategic growth within the public sector market. This role combines thought leadership, relationship management, and business strategy to accelerate cloud and AI security adoption among government and public sector executives. You'll position Wiz's platform with the decision-makers who drive security strategy in federal agencies and public institutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead strategic business development initiatives targeting senior government and public sector executives
• Build and maintain executive relationships with key stakeholders in federal, state, and local government
• Develop go-to-market strategies tailored to the unique compliance requirements and procurement processes of public sector organizations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to position Wiz's cloud and AI security platform
• Create thought leadership content and speak at industry events to establish Wiz as a trusted advisor for government security
• Identify market opportunities and develop business cases for new government and public sector segments

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in strategic roles within government, public sector, or working with government clients
• Proven track record of leading complex executive engagements and closing major strategic deals
• Deep understanding of public sector procurement, compliance frameworks (such as FEDRAMP, NIST), and government buying processes
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite executives
• Strategic thinking combined with operational excellence and attention to detail
• Knowledge of cloud security, AI security, or related technology domains—or strong ability to learn quickly
• Located in or willing to relocate to Washington, D.C., with flexibility for travel to government offices and industry events
