Inspector, QC-Licensed

AAR is hiring a QC-Licensed Inspector for a full-time position at our facility in Loves Park, Winnebago County, Illinois. This role is essential to maintaining the safety and airworthiness of civil aviation components across the industry.

What This Role Involves

As a QC-Licensed Inspector, you'll perform critical airworthiness inspections on civil aviation articles according to manufacturer technical specifications and requirements. Your work ensures compliance with airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and government and industry standards—directly supporting the continued safe operation of aircraft worldwide. This is precision inspection work requiring technical expertise and an unwavering commitment to quality assurance.

Core Duties

• Conduct hands-on inspections of civil aviation articles using manufacturer technical data and documentation
• Verify compliance with airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and service letters
• Apply government and industry standard practices throughout the inspection process
• Document inspection findings and maintain accurate, complete records
• Support continued airworthiness certification for assigned components and systems

What We're Looking For

• Current QC (Quality Control) license meeting role requirements
• Demonstrated experience inspecting civil aviation components or regulated aerospace articles
• Strong working knowledge of airworthiness standards, technical directives, and aviation industry practices
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply complex technical specifications and manufacturer documentation
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
