Speech Pathologist, PRN (Columbia County)

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Speech Pathologist in Grovetown, Columbia County to join our clinical team. In this full-time position, you'll provide evidence-based speech and language pathology services to patients across our healthcare network, making a direct impact on patients' communication and quality of life.

About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist at Wellstar, you'll deliver comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that support patient recovery and wellness.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments using clinical expertise and standardized diagnostic measures
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
• Provide direct patient care in alignment with Wellstar's clinical standards and evidence-based practices
• Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and clinical notes in medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes and recovery
• Maintain professional licenses and stay current with continuing education requirements

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Current State of Georgia license or eligibility for licensure
• Certification by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) or equivalent credential
• Clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
