RN – Full Time Days – LTC

Join Good Samaritan as a Registered Nurse in a full-time, day-shift position at our long-term care facility in Ivanhoe, Lincoln County. We're seeking a compassionate RN to deliver excellent clinical care and support our mission of providing quality healthcare services to seniors in a supportive, values-driven environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week nursing position working day shifts in our long-term care community. As an RN - Full Time Days - LTC, you'll be an essential part of our clinical team, promoting health, dignity, and quality of life for our residents while collaborating closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff.

What You'll Do

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established clinical protocols
• Assess resident health status, monitor vital signs, and identify changes requiring clinical intervention
• Develop and maintain individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Document clinical observations, assessments, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate with residents and families regarding health status, care updates, and treatment plans
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic care environment
• Supervise nursing assistants and coordinate daily nursing unit activities
• Respond to resident needs and advocate for quality care delivery

What We're Looking For

• Current, active RN license in Minnesota
• Proven experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Compassionate approach to resident care and family interactions
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment
• Commitment to professional standards and ongoing clinical education

Compensation

Salary range: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
