As Project Controls Coordinator at MELE Associates, you'll manage administrative controls and financial oversight that keep our projects running efficiently and in full compliance. This full-time position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid grasp of contract requirements and spending protocols.
What You'll Do
- Manage travel authorization workflows, from initial requests through approval, ensuring compliance with company policy and contract specifications
- Process and validate expense reports and reimbursement claims with accuracy and completeness
- Audit invoices from consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to verify billing accuracy, including labor classifications and rates
- Track and reconcile Other Direct Costs (ODCs) and project expenditures to ensure spending aligns with budgets and contracts
- Examine contract terms and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies, cost overruns, or compliance issues
- Maintain organized records and prepare reports that support project accounting and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams to resolve billing questions and documentation gaps
