About the Role

As a Senior Research Compliance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in protecting research integrity and the welfare of human subjects and animals involved in university-conducted research. You'll work directly with faculty, researchers, and administrative teams to navigate complex compliance requirements and maintain the highest standards of research governance.

What You'll Do

• Review and process research compliance activities, including institutional review of human subjects research protocols
• Manage animal care and use compliance documentation and oversight
• Assist with conflict of interest disclosures and evaluations for research personnel
• Support export control compliance for research involving controlled materials or international collaboration
• Provide guidance to investigators, research staff, faculty, administrators, and graduate and undergraduate students on meeting institutional, state, federal, and international regulatory requirements
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to all compliance activities
• Stay current with changing regulations and policy updates affecting research institutions

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of research compliance principles, particularly human subjects protections and institutional regulatory frameworks
• Strong organizational and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across campus
