About the Role
As Maintenance Technician, you'll serve as a key part of our facilities team, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Your work ensures the physical plant operates safely and efficiently, with responsibilities spanning multiple trades and systems. You'll address both routine upkeep and urgent repairs, troubleshooting problems and implementing lasting solutions.
What You'll Do
- Execute maintenance work across electrical systems, including repairs to appliances, wall fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuit components
- Engage in diverse maintenance projects that may include HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders from management
- Perform preventive maintenance to extend the life of equipment and reduce emergency repairs
- Document work completed and report on maintenance activities as directed
- Assist with special projects and facility improvements as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Practical experience in building or facilities maintenance, with a track record of completing diverse repair work
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, fixture repair, and safety protocols
