Financial Analyst – Distribution | St. Louis, MO

Bunzl Career seeks a Financial Analyst – Distribution to support financial planning and performance analysis for the Private Label Brands team in the St. Louis, MO office located in Robertson, Saint Louis County. You'll partner with Category Management and team leadership to evaluate product performance, support business planning, and deliver financial insights that inform strategic decisions.

About the Role

In this full-time position, you'll monitor the financial performance of private label product lines and collaborate closely with the Private Label Brands leadership and Category Management group. Working Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from our St. Louis office, you'll analyze financial data, support budgeting efforts, and help guide product strategy through detailed financial analysis. You'll have occasional flexibility to work remotely when needed, typically one to two days per month.

What You'll Do

• Track and analyze financial performance metrics for private label products against budget forecasts and historical data
• Collaborate with category managers and product leadership to support budget development and review cycles
• Prepare financial reports and presentations that clearly communicate performance trends to management
• Investigate and explain variances in costs, revenue, and gross margin performance
• Support business planning and forecasting through financial modeling and analysis
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data quality throughout your analytical processes

What We're Looking For

• Solid foundation in financial analysis and accounting principles
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and spreadsheet-based analysis
• Strong ability to extract insights from data and communicate findings to leadership
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
