About the Role
This part-time Ultrasonographer II opportunity is based at Texas Health Prosper, located at 1970 W. University Drive in Prosper, Collin County. You'll work 24 hours per week with a dedicated Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday schedule, with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Call responsibilities are included as part of this position. You'll use state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment while collaborating with an experienced Radiology team to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound examinations across multiple clinical specialties
- Operate advanced ultrasound equipment with technical expertise and precision
- Ensure effective communication with patients and interdisciplinary clinical teams
- Mentor and support junior sonographers, contributing to team development
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities as needed to ensure continuity of diagnostic services
- Maintain the highest standards of image quality and procedural excellence
What We're Looking For
- Current ARDMS certification or equivalent national ultrasound credential
- Minimum of two years of clinical ultrasound experience at the Ultrasonographer II level
- Comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound protocols and diagnostic imaging principles
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative healthcare team setting
- Availability for the Monday–Wednesday schedule with periodic on-call coverage
