About the Role
This part-time, day-shift position is based at the Texas Health Behavioral Health Center Uptown (2929 Carlisle, Suite 300, Dallas, TX 75204). As a Behavioral Health Technician supporting a women's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), you will help deliver structured group and individual support within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary setting. The scheduled hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed clinicians in facilitating IOP sessions for women in a virtual and in-person care environment.
- Apply an evidence-based treatment approach, including the Hazelden curriculum, to support participant progress.
- Partner with a multi-disciplinary team of behavioral health professionals to coordinate patient-centered care.
- Monitor and document participant engagement, observations, and program activities.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging space that promotes healing and accountability.
Qualifications
- Background or training as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) or in a related behavioral health field.
- Familiarity with intensive outpatient or behavioral health treatment settings.
- Comfort working within evidence-based models such as the Hazelden curriculum.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to thrive on a team-based, multi-disciplinary unit.
- A genuine passion for supporting women's behavioral health and recovery.
