Lead Maintenance Technician

As a hands-on leader in our maintenance operations, you'll ensure our residential properties remain in excellent condition while supervising and mentoring a dedicated maintenance team.

About the Role

In this full-time position, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations that keep our properties running smoothly and residents satisfied. This is a leadership role where your technical expertise and management skills directly impact property quality, tenant retention, and operational efficiency. You'll balance hands-on repair work with team coordination, scheduling, and quality oversight.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Supervise and train maintenance staff, assign work orders, and ensure quality standards are met
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and complete repairs in a timely manner
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and system upgrades
• Maintain maintenance logs, equipment records, and inventory management
• Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance needs before they become problems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician with at least 3–5 years in property management or residential maintenance
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
• Experience supervising maintenance staff or leading small teams
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various environments
