What You'll Do
- Lead position-specific drills, practice sessions, and conditioning activities designed to develop player skills and athletic performance
- Coach individual players and small groups, providing technical instruction and strategic game knowledge
- Teach offensive and defensive fundamentals, play execution, and game strategy
- Supervise players during practices, competitions, and team activities with an emphasis on safety and discipline
- Maintain coaching equipment, facilities, and field conditions to meet athletic standards
- Communicate with players, families, and coaching staff regarding player development and progress
- Support administrative tasks, compliance requirements, and recruiting efforts as needed
- Model and reinforce standards of sportsmanship, academic responsibility, and character
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience and demonstrated skill in football coaching
- Valid Idaho Teaching Certificate (preferred)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and parents
- Commitment to developing athletes' potential in athletics, academics, and character
- Organized approach to managing coaching responsibilities and team operations
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic school environment
