About the Role
As a bartender with DRG Employer, you'll be the face of our beverage program, creating memorable experiences for guests in both our lounge and dining room. You'll combine technical bartending expertise with genuine hospitality to build lasting relationships with our clientele.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages using proper techniques and established recipes
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our beverage menu, including ingredient sourcing, flavor profiles, and food pairings
- Execute consistent drink presentation standards that reflect our establishment's commitment to quality
- Manage bar operations including cash handling, check totaling, and payment processing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar station throughout your shift
- Provide attentive, personalized service that anticipates guest needs and preferences
- Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure seamless service delivery
What We're Looking For
- Proven bartending experience in an upscale or fine-dining environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage preparation methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with genuine hospitality instincts
- Ability to work efficiently during high-volume service periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality and presentation
- Valid bartender's license or ability to obtain one (as required by Michigan)
- Reliable, professional demeanor and positive team orientation
