Production Utility Technician

Gpac is hiring a Production Utility Technician for full-time work at our dairy operation in Soldiers Grove, Crawford County. This is a hands-on position where you'll support daily production activities, gain exposure across multiple departments, and grow your skills in a facility that prioritizes training and team development.

About the Role

As a Production Utility Technician, you'll be part of a growing dairy manufacturing operation where every team member plays a vital role. You'll work directly on the production floor, supporting production, processing, packaging, and quality operations. This position offers broad exposure to different areas of the facility and a clear pathway for skill development in a stable manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Support production floor operations across multiple departments including processing, packaging, and quality assurance
• Operate and maintain production equipment following established procedures and safety guidelines
• Assist with material handling, equipment setup, and changeovers between product runs
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance tasks to maintain facility standards
• Monitor production quality and report any issues to supervisors
• Respond to equipment concerns and assist with basic troubleshooting
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently
• Physical capability to perform manual labor in a production environment
• Team-oriented mindset with reliable attendance
• Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in equipment operation
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers
