Harvest Group is seeking a Director or Senior Director of Retail Media Paid Search to lead strategic initiatives across one of the retail industry's fastest-growing channels. About the Role
As Director of Retail Media Paid Search, you'll own the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across major retail media networks. You'll lead a team managing multi-million-dollar budgets, set best practices for campaign performance, and partner directly with brand clients to deliver measurable ROI. This is a high-visibility role where your decisions impact both agency performance and client success across the retail media landscape.
What You'll Do
- Lead strategy and execution for retail media paid search campaigns on platforms like Walmart Media Group, Amazon Advertising, Target Plus, and other major retail networks
- Oversee team management, mentoring, and hiring to build high-performing paid search units
- Develop and implement bidding strategies, budget allocation frameworks, and performance optimization methodologies
- Manage client relationships at the executive level, presenting insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations
- Drive innovation in measurement, attribution, and reporting approaches specific to retail media channels
- Collaborate with creative, social, and commerce teams to integrate paid search within broader retail marketing strategies
- Establish and maintain performance standards, KPIs, and quality assurance processes
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of paid search or performance marketing experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or senior role
- Proven expertise managing retail media platforms (Walmart, Amazon, Target, Costco, or similar networks)
- Deep knowledge of bid management, campaign architecture, and conversion optimization
- Track record building and scaling high-performing teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop insights and communicate complex data to clients
- Client-facing experience managing relationships with major brands or agencies
