About the Role

As a Plant Operator – Renewable Natural Gas at the Pine Bend facility in South Saint Paul, you will help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly as raw biogas is processed and upgraded into pipeline-quality renewable natural gas (RNG). This on-site, full-time position puts you at the center of OPAL Fuels' mission to decarbonize hard-to-electrify industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust gas-processing and conversion equipment to maintain safe, efficient production of renewable natural gas.
• Conduct routine inspections, readings, and equipment checks throughout the plant.
• Identify operational issues and support timely maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Record process data and report on plant performance and conditions.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards governing RNG operations.

Qualifications

• Interest in or experience with plant, facility, or industrial equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices.
• Ability to work on-site full-time at the Pine Bend plant in South Saint Paul, Dakota County.
• Willingness to work hands-on in an industrial energy-production environment.
