Recruiting Coordinator

Join Meeting Street Schools as a Recruiting Coordinator and help build our teaching and administrative teams across Charleston. This full-time position supports our mission to deliver transformational education to students across four South Carolina schools.

About the Role

The Recruiting Coordinator plays a vital part in identifying, recruiting, and onboarding talented educators and staff members. You'll work directly with our hiring managers and school leaders to fill roles that advance our mission of empowering students with excellent, life-changing education. Based in Charleston, you'll own key portions of our recruitment process from job posting through candidate selection.

What You'll Do

• Post open positions across job boards and professional networks, tailoring language to attract qualified teaching and administrative talent
• Screen applications and resumes, identifying candidates whose background and values align with Meeting Street Schools
• Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics with hiring managers and school leadership
• Maintain our applicant tracking system, ensuring complete candidate records and timely follow-up
• Support interview panels and assist with reference checks and background screening
• Prepare offer letters, onboarding materials, and new hire documentation
• Track hiring metrics and provide regular updates to school and central office leadership

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in recruitment coordination, human resources, or related administrative role
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication for candidate outreach and internal coordination
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office suite
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in sensitive hiring matters
• Genuine interest in educational equity and school leadership development
