About the Role
As a Part-time E-Sport Attendant with the City of Florissant, you'll help maintain an inclusive, well-organized gaming environment where community members of all skill levels can enjoy competitive and recreational play. This role is essential to ensuring our e-sports facilities operate smoothly and that participants have a positive, safe experience. The position is part-time, not to exceed 28 hours per week, at a rate of $15.35 per hour.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and manage gaming stations, equipment, and facility areas to ensure proper functionality
- Greet participants and provide orientation on facility rules, safety protocols, and equipment use
- Assist players with technical setup, troubleshooting, and general support during gaming sessions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming gaming space
- Support organized tournaments, leagues, and casual play events
- Check equipment and technology to identify maintenance needs or repairs
- Enforce facility policies and create a respectful, inclusive community atmosphere
