Timpanogos Regional Medical Center UT in Orem, Utah County is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department for a full-time, 12-week travel assignment. This is an exceptional opportunity to deliver critical emergency care in an established healthcare setting serving the Utah County community.
About the Role
As an Emergency Room RN at Timpanogos Regional Medical Center UT, you'll provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to patients presenting with acute and emergent medical conditions. Working three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), you'll be at the front lines of patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your clinical expertise directly impacts patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients across the full spectrum of emergency presentations
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Administer medications, fluids, and emergency interventions following established protocols
- Perform wound care, EKG monitoring, and other essential emergency nursing procedures
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records
- Respond to code situations and high-acuity emergencies with composure and competence
- Support patient and family communication during crisis moments
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license valid in Utah
- Proven experience in emergency nursing or acute care settings
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively during night hours and adapt to varied patient volumes
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
- Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
