Network Manager

Robert Half is hiring a full-time Network Manager to oversee network infrastructure, operations, and team leadership at our Jacksonville, Duval County office. In this role, you'll manage critical network systems, lead and mentor technical staff, and collaborate across departments to ensure reliable connectivity and support for business-critical applications.

About the Role

As Network Manager, you'll combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic oversight of network operations. You'll direct your team to maintain and enhance network performance, security, and availability while working closely with other departments to align technology solutions with organizational goals.

What You'll Do

• Plan, implement, and oversee network infrastructure upgrades and maintenance
• Monitor network performance and respond to connectivity and system issues
• Lead and develop network engineering team members, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Manage network security protocols, access controls, and compliance requirements
• Coordinate with IT leadership, application teams, and business stakeholders on integrated solutions
• Oversee budgets and manage vendor relationships for network hardware, software, and services
• Document network architecture, procedures, and disaster recovery plans

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in network infrastructure management and operations
• Proven experience leading and developing technical teams
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security practices
• Track record managing network engineering projects from conception to completion
• Strong communication abilities with both technical and business audiences
• Education and professional certifications relevant to network infrastructure (such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)
