About the Role

As Incident Response Manager for Enforcement, you'll take charge of detecting, investigating, and resolving security incidents and policy violations that impact our AI systems. You'll coordinate response strategies across engineering, security, and policy teams, ensuring swift containment, thorough investigation, and sustainable prevention of future incidents. Your work directly supports Anthropic's mission to create AI systems that are safe, interpretable, and aligned with human values.

What You'll Do

• Lead incident response operations from initial detection through resolution and post-incident review
• Develop and execute enforcement-focused response protocols tailored to security and policy violations
• Investigate root causes of incidents affecting system integrity and user trust
• Coordinate cross-functional response efforts with technical and policy teams
• Create and refine incident response procedures that scale with organizational growth
• Communicate incident status, findings, and recommendations to technical and executive audiences

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing security or safety incidents in technical, fast-moving environments
• Strong foundation in incident response frameworks, triage methodologies, and forensic investigation
• Background in enforcement, security operations, or compliance within technology or safety-critical fields
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams under pressure and ambiguity
• Exceptional communication skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Genuine interest in AI safety challenges and building trustworthy AI systems
