About the Role

As a Domestic Violence Coordinator with PATH, you'll serve as a critical bridge between survivors and the comprehensive resources they need to rebuild their lives safely. You'll work alongside program leaders and community partners to deliver coordinated support services that address both immediate safety concerns and long-term stability. This role requires driving to meet clients in the field and coordinate across our Los Angeles County service area.

Your Responsibilities

  • Respond to individuals in crisis with immediate intervention, develop personalized safety strategies, and offer emotional support
  • Assess each person's unique circumstances and collaborate with them to create customized service plans addressing their specific needs
  • Connect survivors to external resources including shelters, counseling, legal services, medical care, and social services
  • Facilitate coordination with coordinated entry system (CES) programs, veterans' services, faith-based organizations, and victim advocacy groups
  • Build and maintain partnerships with law enforcement, court systems, healthcare providers, and community-based organizations to strengthen service delivery
  • Manage case documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with privacy regulations

What We're Looking For

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of direct experience supporting domestic violence or sexual assault survivors, or working in crisis intervention or homelessness prevention. Beyond experience, you'll demonstrate:

  • Clear communication skills—presenting information effectively in writing and conversation
  • Analytical capability to identify patterns in client needs and systemic gaps
  • Collaborative approach, working constructively with diverse teams
  • Strong ethical foundation—operating with integrity and respect for professional boundaries
  • Problem-solving mindset—evaluating situations thoughtfully and generating creative solutions
  • Initiative and self-direction—taking ownership and responsibility proactively

Requirements for This Position

  • Minimum one year of direct experience with domestic violence, sexual assault, crisis intervention, CES, or homelessness services
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation (essential to this role)
  • Proof of vehicle insurance and ownership
  • Ability to qualify for PATH's vehicle insurance coverage
  • U.S. work authorization (PATH does not sponsor visa holders)
  • Willingness and ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  • Willingness to complete a tuberculosis test, background screening, and drug screening as conditions of employment
  • Have not received services from PATH in the past two years

Compensation & Benefits

This full-time, non-exempt position offers an hourly rate of $23.24 to $28.28 based on experience, paid across 24 pay periods annually. PATH provides medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, and a retirement plan.
