About the Role

As a Building & Grounds Technician I at Adelbrook Inc, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Working in Cromwell, you'll ensure our buildings, grounds, vehicles, and mechanical systems remain in excellent working condition through preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and prompt repairs.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds
• Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential repairs
• Execute corrective maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, furniture, and facility infrastructure
• Maintain and service agency vehicles as needed
• Keep grounds clean and well-maintained, including landscaping and outdoor areas
• Document maintenance activities and track equipment service schedules
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and facilities management
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Knowledge of building maintenance, grounds care, and basic mechanical systems
• Ability to operate hand tools and light equipment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability and attention to detail in maintaining facility conditions
• Valid driver's license (may be required for vehicle maintenance duties)
